Hi! My name is Mandy Nash, and I am so pleased that you are here! I began writing Merlot + Brussels Sprouts in 2015, when I discovered a lack of vegetarian recipes as pairing options for wine. I started hosting parties where I could make healthy food for friends, and took notes on as many wines as I could affordably taste.
I landed a job at Wise Villa Winery as a Wine Educator and quickly gained a wealth of knowledge about the wine industry. My experience in wine and health education, as well as my passion for cooking, and living a healthy lifestyle, contributes to the credibility of the book.
